Job summary

Southland Industries offers an immersive internship and New College Graduate program designed to place students onto real projects in the Design/Build HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection field. You will support the Safety Manager in enforcing procedures while learning to navigate OSHA regulations and site safety practices.

You will gain hands-on experience by working with Southland’s field teams, building strong professional skills, and potentially securing a full-time role upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures.
• Support certification tracking for industrial equipment.
• Help report workers' compensation claims.
• Maintain MSDS manuals and safety tailgate meeting records.
• Participate in safety program initiatives.
