Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a safety-related field and 2+ years of experience in EHS, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety-related field.
• 2+ years of workplace safety experience in EHS, manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• CSP/ASP/OSHA 30-Hour or similar credentials preferred.
• Experience with incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and programs.
• Ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training for employees and contractors.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare management reports.
• Assist in emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response activities.
• Conduct JSAs and risk assessments.
• Partner with supervisors to promote a safety culture.
• Maintain training, inspection, incident, and compliance records.
• Facilitate safety committee meetings and engagement initiatives.
• Recommend and monitor corrective actions for safety concerns.
• Support EHS initiatives as required.
