Job summary

Sodecia Automotive Detroit Corp is seeking an Experienced Safety Advisor to lead health and safety initiatives at Center Line, MI. The role focuses on reducing workplace risks through training, audits and strong incident investigation practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating safety programs, PPE selection, and ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a zero-accident culture and timely corrective actions across all plant areas.

Qualifications

• High level teamwork, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
• IT knowledge: Word, Excel, Internet and Email.
• Solid working knowledge of OSHAS 14001.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide problem solving, analysis, training, coaching related to safety & ergonomic improvements.
• Coordinate safety actions and accident prevention programs.
• Develop and follow up safety audits and corrective actions.
• Coordinate health and safety activities with other business functions.
• Coordinate 5S audits and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure appropriate PPE selection and cost monitoring.
• Promote zero-accident culture and incident reporting policy.
• Advise management on regulatory changes and new requirements.
• Provide safety training sessions per internal programs.
