Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Safety Specialist to promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and procedures.

You will conduct inspections, investigate incidents, deliver training, manage records, and support EHS initiatives while ensuring OSHA compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of safety experience, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with supervisors and management to promote a positive safety culture.

• Facilitate safety committee meetings and employee engagement initiatives.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), OSHA 30-Hour Certification, or similar credentials.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Experience with safety management systems and compliance reporting.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk production floors, construction sites, or industrial facilities for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• May require occasional travel between facilities or worksites.
