Job summary

Sure Power is seeking a Safety Coordinator to enforce health and safety programs, conduct audits, train staff, and serve as a liaison between employees and management to maintain a safe workplace environment.

The role requires OSHA 30, CPR, and a minimum of 3 years in EHS with an electrical background; travel up to 50% to job sites, develop and implement safety policies, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate/Bachelor preferred in Occupational Health and Safety.
• OSHA 30 and CPR certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of EHS experience with strong electrical background.
• Certification from a recognized safety program (e.g., CSP, CHST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites and conduct safety audits and inspections (up to 50% travel).
• Stop unsafe operations and activities that could harm staff or equipment.
• Investigate incidents with EHS Manager to identify root causes.
• Coordinate safety drills and emergency response plans.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures with EHS Manager.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports.
• Provide safety training to employees on-site and in-office.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and standards.
