Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in a St. Louis area distribution center. You will lead with a safety-first mindset, coach and develop associates, and drive efficient workflows to meet shipping targets.

Strong leadership and communication are essential for managing shift planning and performance data. Responsibilities include staffing decisions with managers, dock operations, and ensuring MSS/FSQA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Familiarity with HACCP and OSHA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training.
• Direct and supervise work and productivity within the warehouse department.
• Interview and hire warehouse personnel in collaboration with Sr. Managers.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for shipping.
• Monitor performance data and correct behaviors through coaching.
• Schedule shifts and designate dock locations per processes.
• Maintain MSS and FSQA compliance and safety standards.
• Oversee facility safety and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in identifying inventory shrink and cost-control improvements.
