Job summary

US Foods in Aurora and Plainfield, IL is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead a safety‑driven team and ensure efficient receiving, storage, and outbound loading. You will coach, engage and develop associates, drive performance, and maintain a safe, cost‑effective operation aligned with US Foods values and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in warehouse distribution, familiarity with inventory controls, OSHA and HACCP, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year overseeing a workforce.
• Familiarity with inventory control and safety regulations (OSHA/HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to maintain an injury-free environment and train staff on safety procedures.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and performance discussions.
• Direct and supervise workflow to ensure efficient operations and accurate orders.
• Hire and build high-performing teams; review performance and provide coaching.
• Ensure orders are prepared, staged, and loaded for outbound shipping.
• Monitor productivity and quality metrics; address variances with corrective actions.
• Designate dock locations for inbound carriers and maintain proper stock locations.
• Maintain facility safety and equipment, coordinate repairs and improvements.
