Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and oversee package Handlers in daily operations. You will manage staffing, training, performance reviews, and implement safety and process improvements while maintaining compliance with FedEx policies and governmental regulations.

You will lead meetings, mentor staff, and address customer service issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Associate’s degree or 2+ years of college coursework toward a degree can be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx Safety Above All Culture and supports related initiatives.
• Hires, trains, coaches, evaluates, and manages staff performance.
• Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls day-to-day operations.
• Assigns and manages employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyzes performance data and drives improvements in key metrics.
• Leads daily meetings and communicates updates and goals to staff.
• Develops and administers safety and employee relations strategies.
• Resolves customer service issues and ensures training adherence.
