Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee frontline staff and ensure safe, efficient package sortation. You will manage daily operations, hire and coach a team, and monitor performance with a focus onSafety Above All Culture.

You will lead meetings, train new employees on FXG policies and safety requirements, and collaborate with linehaul as needed to optimize throughput and quality. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in supervision or package handling in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to read and interpret data and reports.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, train, evaluate and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
