Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day sortation operations, manage a staff of Package Handlers and support administrative functions in alignment with Safety Above All culture.

You will hire, coach, train, and evaluate staff while ensuring compliance with FedEx policies and government regulations. The role emphasizes safety, process improvement, and strong communication with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or 2+ years of college toward degree acceptable.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze operational performance and drive improvements to key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate updates and daily goals; public speaking as needed.
• Train new employees on job duties and FXG policies and safety.
