Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee frontline staff and ensure safe, efficient package sortation. You will manage a team of package handlers and possibly administrative staff, upholding FedEx policies and regulatory requirements.

You will lead daily operations, hire and coach staff, monitor performance, and coordinate with other departments. Strong communication and safety focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in package handler or supervisory roles or equivalent.
• Certification programs or Associate's degree acceptable in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, train, and evaluate staff to meet performance goals.
• Plan and control day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages and adherence to FXG policies.
• Lead meetings, communicate updates, and motivate the workforce.
• Develop safety programs and employee relations strategies.
