Job summary

Pike Corporation in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a safety-focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing electrical transmission systems, both energized and de-energized. You will report to the General Foreman and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as needed.

Essential duties include leading safety briefings, coaching juniors, and ensuring quality and on-time project completion while managing equipment such as bucket trucks and tensioners.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of energized/de-energized transmission systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Coach and train lower classifications in safe procedures.
• Oversee projects and ensure quality and on-time completion.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Handle switching, tagging, EPZ grounding and test equipment.
• Climb structures and work at heights near energized lines.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and related equipment.
• Travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state assignments.
