Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety‑focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing electrical transmission systems. The role involves working on energized and de‑energized lines, travel to various sites, and reporting to the General Foreman.

Strong leadership, safety, and risk assessment are essential. The Foreman will oversee safety briefings, ensure quality and deadlines, and operate heavy transmission line equipment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at different job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew to construct and repair transmission systems with safety first.
• Perform new construction and maintenance on energized/de-energized lines.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Operate transmission line equipment and bucket trucks.
• Coordinate safety briefings and training of junior workers.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and be available for outages.
