Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew on the construction and repair of electrical transmission systems. This role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to various job sites, and reporting to the General Foreman.

You will supervise field crews, ensure safety protocols, and manage project quality and deadlines. The position requires five years of transmission line experience and a valid CDL, with readiness for on-call rotations and overtime.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends and emergencies.
• Experience with safety procedures and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to construct and repair transmission systems with safety first.
• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized transmission lines.
• Conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train junior employees in safe work procedures.
• Oversee project work quality and deadlines.
• Operate and maintain transmission line equipment including bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Work outdoors in extreme conditions and travel to out-of-state sites.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Follow all safety PPE protocols and insulation practices.
