Carr’s Tree Service in the upper Midwest is seeking a safety‑driven Crew Leader to guide daily tree care operations and develop high‑performing crews. You will lead by example, ensure safety compliance, and drive quality and efficiency across trimming, pruning, and removal tasks.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to safety, with opportunities for career growth, training, and advancement within a respected arboriculture company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• Proven leadership ability and strong communication skills.
• Solid understanding of OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety meetings and ensure job briefings and required documentation are completed.
• Supervise and lead a crew of 1-4 team members.
• Plan, oversee, and participate in tree trimming, pruning, and removal operations.
• Communicate with landowners, customers, utility reps, and the public professionally.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment including bucket trucks and chippers.
• Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
