Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and manage day-to-day package hander staff. You’ll ensure safe, efficient sortation and compliance with FedEx policies and regulations across administrative functions.

You will hire, coach, train, evaluate performance, and lead daily meetings, while optimizing operational productivity and costs. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification or Associate's degree acceptable in lieu of experience; 2+ years of college toward degree also considered.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement or specialized roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily meetings to communicate updates and goals to staff.
• Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.
• Direct and control day-to-day operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assign and manage staff for safe, cost-effective sortation of packages.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement actions.
• Mentor other Operations Supervisors and develop key skills.
