JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). The role provides direction on health and safety, implementing programs across the region and leading training efforts for regional teams.

Preference for Kansas City, MO base, with national scope across data center, semiconductor and manufacturing projects. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in safety/health or related field, 10+ years in construction safety, and 5+ years of people management, with

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field is required.
Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.

Responsibilities

Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
Monitors EHS metrics and provides timely analytics using internal tools.
Leads Drug and Alcohol program in line with corporate policies.
Designs and conducts EHS training for regional safety teams.
Leads investigations on serious or catastrophic safety matters within the region.
Collaborates with safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends and provide recommendations.
