Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an experienced Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). You will provide overall direction on safety and health, implement programs nationwide, and lead training and analytics aligned with company goals.

A strong candidate has 10+ years of construction safety leadership and 5+ years of management experience. Preference for base in our Kansas City area, with duties impacting large data center, semiconductor, and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
• 10+ years construction safety experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures EH&S metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program and investigates safety matters.
• Leads the investigation team on serious safety issues within the Region.
• Owns prequalification platforms (e.g., ISNET, Construct Secure).
