Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Director for its Advanced Facilities Group. The role provides direction on safety and health, implementing programs, analyzing metrics, and leading training activities for national goals.

Preference for base in Kansas City, MO, with regional responsibilities across large data centers, semiconductor, and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in construction safety, 5+ years of people leadership, and 2+ years budgeting experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or related field (Required).
• 10+ years construction safety experience (Required).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience (Required).
• Safety leadership experience on large scale advanced facilities/high tech projects (Data center, semiconductor, industrial & manufacturing) (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures EH&S metrics and provides analytics using internal tools.
• Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads Drug and Alcohol program per corporate policies.
• Designs and conducts EH&S training for Regional safety teams.
• Leads investigation team on serious safety matters.
• Owns prequalification platforms (ISNET, Construct Secure) and collaborates with client solutions partners.
• Promotes diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.
