Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). The role provides leadership on safety and health across the region, implementing programs, tracking metrics and guiding training and investigations.

A strong preference exists for Kansas City HQ but nationwide responsibilities are anticipated. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in safety/health or related field and 10+ years of construction safety experience, including 5+ years in people

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field is required.
Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience leading safety programs in large-scale high-tech construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives across the region.
Measures EH&S metrics and provides analytics using internal tools.
Leads Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with policy.
Leads investigations on serious or catastrophic safety matters.
Designs and conducts EH&S training for regional safety teams.
