Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) seeks a Safety Director to lead safety and health initiatives across national projects. You will implement EH&S programs, analyze metrics, and coordinate with risk teams to support regional safety goals.

A strong preference is for this role to be based out of the Kansas City, MO office. The role requires extensive safety leadership experience on large advanced facilities projects, with a focus on data centers, industrial manufacturing, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
10+ years construction safety experience.
5+ years people management experience.
2+ years budgeting or financial management experience.
Safety leadership on large-scale advanced facilities projects (data center, semiconductor) preferred.

Responsibilities

Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with corporate policies.
Leads the investigation team on serious safety matters within the Region.
Designs, leads, and conducts environmental, health and safety training for Regional safety team members.
Owns prequalification platforms such as ISNET and Construct Secure.
