Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Director for its Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) to lead safety and health initiatives across regions. You will implement programs, track metrics, and drive training, with a strong preference to base in Kansas City, MO.

You will oversee workers' compensation processes, collaborate with risk/insurance, and lead a team to ensure compliance across large-scale data center and manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
• 10+ years construction safety experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience.
• Safety leadership experience on large scale advanced facilities/high tech projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Provides support with Worker's Compensation claims and collaborates with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with corporate policies.
