Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) Safety Director will provide overall direction on safety and health for the region, implementing programs and leading training aligned with company goals.

Based with a preferred Kansas City location, this role leads incident investigations, metrics, and prequalification activities while collaborating with risk and insurance teams, marketing, and nationwide safety professionals to promote a culture of safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
• 10+ years construction safety experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs, metrics, and training for the region.
• Manage Workers’ Compensation coordination with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Lead Drug and Alcohol program and safety investigations.
• Collaborate with nationwide safety professionals and marketing.
• Own prequalification platforms (ISNET, Construct Secure).
• Prepare publications for company communications.
