Job summary

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead safety and health programs nationwide. The role focuses on implementing programs, driving metrics, and supporting workers’ compensation processes across regions, with emphasis on high-tech projects.

Preference is to base the role in the Kansas City, MO office. You’ll manage a team, collaborate with risk and insurance, train regional safety staff, and promote a culture of inclusion while ensuring compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health or construction-related field required.
• Experience: 10+ years construction safety; 5+ years of people management; 2+ years budgeting/financial management.
• Safety leadership on large scale advanced facilities/high-tech projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures EHS metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Supports Workers’ Compensation claims with Risk/Insurance teams.
• Leads Drug and Alcohol program per corporate policies.
• Leads investigations on serious safety matters within the Region.
• Trains Regional safety teams and collaborates with nationwide safety professionals.
• Promotes diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn and ensures non-discrimination.
