Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead safety and health across national programs, implementing safety policies, analytics, and training to support the company’s strategic goals.

Preference for base in Kansas City, MO, with potential travel to project sites. The role focuses on environmental health and safety, drug/alcohol programs, and collaboration with risk, insurance teams, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years construction safety experience required.
• 5+ years people management experience required.
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience required.
• Safety leadership on large scale advanced facilities projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and drive environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Provide analytics on EH&S metrics for regional executives and teams.
• Lead Drug and Alcohol program per corporate policies.
• Design and conduct EH&S training for regional safety teams.
• Collaborate with nationwide safety professionals to monitor trends.
