Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead nationwide EH&S programs, metrics, and training for high-tech facilities. Based near Kansas City, but will support national safety goals within a dynamic project portfolio.

The role requires 10+ years in construction safety, 5+ years of people management, and the ability to oversee workers’ compensation claims while driving a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or related field.
• 10+ years construction safety experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience.
• Safety leadership on large-scale advanced facilities projects (data center, semiconductor, industrial & manufacturing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides analytics.
• Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads Drug and Alcohol program in line with corporate policies.
• Leads investigation team on serious safety matters within the Region.
• Collaborates with safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends and provide recommendations.
