Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Director for its Advanced Facilities Group to lead safety and health initiatives across the region in support of national goals. The role emphasizes program implementation, analytics, and training with a strong focus on safety leadership for large, high-tech projects.

The preferred base is Kansas City, MO, but candidates from other locations may be considered. The position requires overseeing safety policies, incident investigations, and cross-team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field required.
• 10+ years construction safety experience required.
• 5+ years people management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with corporate policies.
• Designs, leads, and conducts environmental, health and safety training.
• Leads the investigation team on serious or catastrophic safety matters within the Region.
• Collaborates with other safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends and provide recommendations.
