Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Safety Director for its Advanced Facilities Group. You will lead safety strategy, implement programs, and provide analytics to regional leadership on health, environmental and worker’s compensation matters.

Preference for the Kansas City, MO office, with opportunities across national data center, semiconductor and industrial manufacturing projects. Ten+ years in construction safety and five+ years in people leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field (Required).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 10+ years construction safety experience (Required).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience (Required).
• Safety leadership experience on large scale advanced facilities/high tech projects (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with policies.
• Leads the investigation team on serious or catastrophic safety matters.
• Collaborates with nationwide safety professionals to monitor trends and provide recommendations.
