Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group to lead safety and health initiatives nationwide. You will implement programs, analyze metrics, and drive training across regions to meet strategic goals.

The role emphasizes leadership on large-scale data center, semiconductor, and industrial projects, with a strong preference for KC-based operations. A senior, visible safety leadership position reporting into regional executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field required.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
• Industry knowledge spanning EH&S, risk, and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures EH&S metrics and provides timely analytics using internal tools.
• Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with corporate policies.
• Attends internal/external meetings to discuss EH&S matters and offers solutions.
• Designs and conducts EH&S training for regional safety teams.
• Leads investigation efforts on serious safety matters within the Region.
• Collaborates with safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends and provide recommendations.
• Owns prequalification platforms like ISNET and Construct Secure; partners with client solutions.
• Authors publications for Company communications.
