Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead safety and health strategy nationwide, implement programs, track metrics, and train teams. Strong preference for Kansas City, MO base; role supports data centers, industrial/manufacturing projects.

The candidate will oversee workers' compensation involvement, prequalification platforms, and a culture of inclusion, with collaboration across regions and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
• 10+ years construction safety experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• Experience leading safety programs on large-scale advanced facilities/high-tech projects (data centers, semiconductor, industrial/manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures EH&S metrics and provides analytics.
• Leads Drug and Alcohol program per policy.
• Leads investigation team for serious safety matters.
