Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group to provide strategic leadership on safety and health across national initiatives. You will implement programs, track metrics, and lead training activities in support of JE Dunn’s goals.

The role prefers base in Kansas City, MO with nationwide impact on data center, industrial and semiconductor projects. Requires 10+ years in construction safety, 5+ years in people management, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field (Required).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 10+ years construction safety experience (Required).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience (Required).
• Safety leadership on large scale advanced facilities/high tech projects (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program.
• Designs, leads, and conducts EH&S training for Regional safety team members.
• Leads the investigation team on safety matters within the Region.
• Owns prequalification platforms (ISNET, Construct Secure) and collaborates with client solutions partners.
• Authors publications for Company communications.
• Promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.
