Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead safety across national initiatives, provide analytics, and drive training and program implementation. Preference for Kansas City, MO based office. Requires 10+ years in construction safety, 5+ years in people management, and budgeting experience.

The role emphasizes building a culture of safety, coordinating with Risk, Insurance, and client partners, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field is required.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
• Proven experience leading safety programs and teams in large-scale facilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides analytics.
• Supports workers' compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads Drug and Alcohol program per corporate policies.
• Designs and conducts safety training for regional teams.
• Leads investigations on serious safety matters within the Region.
