Job summary

Southland Industries in Schertz, TX is seeking an entry-level Occupational Health & Safety role to assist the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection construction sites.

You will help implement safety programs, coordinate training, maintain MSDS records and safety documentation, and assist with incident reporting and tailgate meetings while growing a career in a 100% employee-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all project-site tasks are performed safely per policies and OSHA standards.
• Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute certification cards and maintain training records for industrial equipment.
• Report and manage company vehicle claims and workers' compensation reporting.
• Update MSDS manuals and assemble safety materials for distribution.
• Support tailgate meetings and maintain signed forms.
