Job summary

Southland Industries, Inc. seeks a Recent Grad/Alumni Safety Coordinator to support Occupational Health & Safety efforts across our HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection projects.

You will assist the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures on field sites and in understanding construction safety management. You will participate in implementing safety programs, coordinating training, and maintaining safety records and MSDS materials as part of a growing, employee-owned company with a strong

Responsibilities

• Ensure all site tasks are performed safely per company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Assist in implementing the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute certification cards for industrial equipment training and maintain training records.
• Report and manage vehicle claims and workers' compensation reporting.
• Update MSDS manuals and assemble safety manuals for distribution.
• Distribute and document tailgate safety meetings and forms.
