Job summary

Southland Industries, Inc. is seeking a Recent Grad/Alumni Safety Coordinator, Associate to assist the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures on HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection projects.

You will help maintain OSHA-compliant practices on site and coordinate safety activities for the division. The role emphasizes training, mentoring less experienced safety personnel and building strong relationships with field teams to keep everyone safe and productive.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks on project sites are performed safely per safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute certification cards for industrial equipment training and maintain records.
• Report and manage all company vehicle claims.
• Assist in reporting workers' compensation claims.
• Update MSDS manual and safety data sheets.
• Assemble safety manuals for distribution.
• Assist in safety tailgate meetings and record forms.
