Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking candidates to join our Occupational Health & Safety program for the Design/Build HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection industries. The role supports the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across sites and facilities, coordinating division safety activities and construction processes.

You will help implement safety programs, manage training records, and contribute to a culture of safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks on project sites are performed safely per safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute and track certification cards for industrial equipment training; maintain training records.
• Report and manage all company vehicle claims.
• Assist in reporting workers' compensation claims.
• Update MSDS manual and assemble safety manuals for distribution.
• Distribute safety tailgate meetings and maintain signed tailgate forms.
