Job summary

IES is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and manage safety programs, training, and inspections for assigned projects and sites. This role emphasizes compliance with federal and state standards and requires EMT or higher credentials preferred.

The candidate will lead safety policies, perform audits, conduct root cause analyses and deliver orientation and OSHA-compliant training to management and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support safety policies and programs across sites and divisions.

• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare safety records and reports; mentor stakeholders in safety culture.
