Job summary

McKesson seeks a Release Train Engineer to enable alignment and execution across multiple agile teams within the Shared Product Capabilities value stream. You will shape PI planning cadence, coach teams, and help remove impediments at scale.

In this role you will apply SAFe/LPM practices, leverage AI-enabled analytics, and collaborate with Product, Technology, UX, and Data leaders. A competitive compensation package is offered within McKesson's Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Agile delivery, program delivery, product development, or related field.
• Experience supporting Agile teams in a scaled environment and leading large, cross-functional planning and execution events.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, dependency management, flow.
• Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop practical approaches to complex problems with sound judgment and limited direction.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate credibly with delivery teams and leaders.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to connect delivery patterns, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Experience using Atlassian tools and Miro.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve delivery with judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve value stream operating cadences and PI planning activities.
• Lead large-scale cross-functional planning and execution events.
• Align priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, objectives, and backlog readiness for PI Planning.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, and impediments across the value stream.
• Coordinate cross-value stream alignment, shared capacity, and integration milestones.
• Track performance, flow metrics, ART health, and delivery outcomes; use AI analytics.
• Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Technology, UX, Data, and leadership.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to enhance facilitation and dependency management.
