Job summary

McKesson seeks a dedicated Shared Product Capabilities Value Stream Release Train Engineer to enable alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple teams and product value streams. You will establish the SAFe operating cadence, coach teams, manage dependencies, and improve predictability within McKesson's SAFe framework.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Technology, UX, Data, and leadership to ensure alignment between strategy, backlog priorities, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant Agile/program/product delivery experience.
• Experience supporting Agile teams in scaled environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and improve value stream and ART-level cadences (PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, etc.).
• Coordinate large-scale cross-functional planning and execution events across teams and priorities.
• Prepare teams for PI Planning with priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, and backlog readiness.
• Track cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, and impediments; improve flow and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineers across value streams to align capacity and milestones; surface trade-offs with data.
• Use AI-enabled analytics to identify bottlenecks and inform decisions for delivery.
• Lead Inspect & Adapt sessions and coach teams on Lean-Agile principles and decentralized decision-making.
• Communicate delivery risks and opportunities to leaders and partners across functions.
