Job summary

Motion Industries, Inc. seeks a Release Train Engineer to lead the Agile Release Train (ART) and coach Scrum Masters, teams, and stakeholders in Lean-Agile practices.

The role drives cadence, PI planning, and program-level metrics to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery within Motion's SAFe-based framework. The RTE partners with Product Management, System Architecture, and Business Owners to align execution with value, improve speed, and sustain collaboration across multiple teams and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years of Agile delivery experience.
• Experience facilitating SAFe at the program/ART level or equivalent.
• 3+ years as Release Train Engineer or equivalent ART-facilitation role, including PI Planning.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and improves ART events (PI Planning, ART Sync, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt).
• Manages ART cadence and IP periods and the annual calendar of Iterations and PIs.
• Drives flow of value, maintains Kanban, and resolves cross-team risks/dependencies.
• Owns ART delivery metrics and reports them to leadership for decision-making.
• Coaches Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders in SAFe/Lean-Agile principles.
