Job summary

Motion is seeking a Release Train Engineer to act as the chief facilitator for the Agile Release Train (ART). You will guide ART events, drive value flow, coach Scrum Masters and teams, and report program-level metrics to leadership.

The role requires SAFe expertise and extensive experience in large-scale Agile delivery. You will collaborate with Product Management, System Architecture, and Business Owners to align execution with planned value, improve speed, and enhance outcomes and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; 8+ years of Agile delivery experience.
Experience facilitating SAFe at the program/ART level; PI Planning experience required.
Strong SAFe and Agile Release Trains (ART) knowledge with cadence and events.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and improve ART events like PI Planning, ART Sync, System Demo, and Inspect & Adapt.
Establish ART cadence; manage iterations, PIs, and IP periods.
Drive value flow across teams; manage cross-team risks and dependencies.
Track and escalate program-level impediments spanning multiple teams.
Own ART delivery metrics and report them to leadership for decisions.
Coach Scrum Masters, Agile teams, and stakeholders in Lean-Agile practices.
