Job summary

Everlaw, based in Oakland, CA, seeks a Renewals Manager to own the rolling pipeline of internal SaaS and IT contract renewals. You will help prevent unfavorable auto-renewals and drive cost savings through usage analysis and license right-sizing.

You will partner with Engineering, IT, HR, and Marketing to manage expiring vendor contracts and build disciplined renewal processes. This is a full-time, hybrid role in Oakland with in-office M/W/Th and optional Tu/Fr remote.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of procurement experience in tech/software.
• Experience managing end-to-end renewal pipelines across multi-location orgs.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to use usage metrics for cost savings.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with Legal, IT, Security, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a rolling 12-month renewal calendar and prevent auto-renewal pitfalls.
• Analyze usage data with IT Asset Management to identify unused seats and over-provisioned tiers.
• Negotiate software and IT renewals using playbooks and approved fallback positions.
• Coordinate reviews with Legal, Security, IT, Compliance, and FP&A for privacy, security, and budget approvals.
• Administer ZIP and maintain contract records, renewal dates, spend data, and savings in the system of record.
