Job summary

Odyssey is hiring an Implementation manager in the United States to own deployment outcomes from kickoff to lifecycle. You will embed with state customers, coordinating with Engineering, Product, and Support to ensure go-live and ongoing value delivery.

You will lead deployment planning, communicate complex customer requirements, and drive adoption that supports renewals. This role suits someone comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage SaaS startup environment with strong technical acumen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an implementation or customer success role with hands-on experience deploying actual technology products.
• Experience managing long-term, complex and technical implementation cycles 6+ months from start to finish.
• Thrives in an early stage SaaS startup environment where ambiguity is the norm and speed matters.
• Strong technical acumen; can deploy technical systems and discuss high-level technical topics with customers.
• High degree of empathy to understand customer and end-user perspectives and chart a path forward.
• Owner mindset with accountability and creative problem solving to push plans forward.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand all elements important to the customer that may impact deployment and communicate with internal teams.
• Deploy Odyssey to customers and ensure successful completion of contractual requirements and go-live milestones.
• Build strong partnerships and lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop deployment plans and lead them with State stakeholders and Odyssey teams (Engineering, Product, Support).
• Provide technical knowledge of Odyssey's platform to stakeholders; drive deployment of technical solutions and configurations.
• Drive customer growth and adoption, leading to successful renewal.
• Ensure deployments are scalable and efficient, avoiding reinventing the wheel for each customer.
