Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join the Merchant Experience team. You’ll guide merchants through the integration of ProcessOut, ensuring go-live success and a smooth customer journey.

Ideal candidates combine customer-facing skills with strong technical know-how, have experience with SaaS APIs, and can debug complex problems across REST services. Remote-friendly, hybrid workspace with in-office days.

Qualifications

In-depth technical knowledge of SaaS, web services, APIs, web apps, mobile apps, and IT infra.
Native-level English or French communication with strong business acumen.
Able to read server and application logs and debug errors.
Strong experience with REST HTTP APIs.
Strong project management experience and ideally customer onboarding.
Ability to investigate and solve complex technical problems for customers.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to merchants during implementation of ProcessOut.
Plan and manage customer integration projects.
Answer integration questions including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing and go-live support.
Manage incidents related to integration (investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting).
Collaborate with account managers, technical support and engineers to resolve issues during trials or post-implementation support.
Coordinate with Product/Engineering to identify improvement ideas.
Advise management on project status and potential issues affecting customer satisfaction.
Multitask across multiple projects and key customer integrations.
Maintain and update merchant documentation to reduce friction during implementation.
