Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking a seasoned Solutions/Partner Engineer to own the partner integration lifecycle from discovery through SOWs with System Integrators. You will serve as the interface between partnerships and product/engineering, provide SME guidance on merchant platforms, and help shape future platform roadmaps.

The role demands strong API integration experience, frontend/backend development knowledge, and comfort working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solutions/partner engineering or similar.
• Experience building and scaling platform integrations in ecommerce/payments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of API-based integration methods and tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Own the partner integration lifecycle from discovery to SOW with System Integrators.
• Interface between partnerships and product/engineering teams internally and externally.
• Provide SME on platforms for merchants and assist with merchant RFPs and technical questions.
• Contribute input on technology trends, integration gaps, and platform roadmaps.
• Act as technical evangelist for platform partners both inside and outside the company.
• Build integrations into tech stacks, including APIs, and run debugging/UAT testing.
• Serve as the core technical owner for partner integrations and project management.
