Job summary

Thryv, a long-standing SaaS provider for SMBs, seeks an Outside Software Account Representative to grow a local book of business in the U.S. market. You will build a personal pipeline, prospect, and close SaaS deals while serving existing Thryv clients for expansion.

You will spend >50% of your time outside your home office, travel as needed, and partner with marketing and technology teams to execute selling strategies. A valid driver’s license and remote-first mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing schedules.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and conduct sales presentations remotely.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs.
• A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute).

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market; build your own pipeline.
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients via self-generated and company-initiated prospecting.
• Execute defined sales processes, cadences, product demos, and order-entry requirements.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and ongoing training as needed.
