Job summary

Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow our SaaS client base in local markets. You will build your own pipeline from scratch, prospect self-generating leads, and manage a book of business as you expand Thryv's footprint.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in a SaaS role or company.
• 2+ years outbound sales (full sales cycle) experience.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute).

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand Thryv's SaaS clients in the local business market.
• Identify and secure new SaaS clients via self-generated prospecting and company programs.
• Execute defined operational processes for client engagement and product demos.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and ongoing training.
