Job summary

Camping World seeks a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV systems, generators and coach bodies. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostic and maintenance skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical areas. You’ll document tests, track parts, and ensure safe, clean work areas.

Certification is encouraged; RVIA certification helpful but not required. Paid training and opportunities for certification are provided by Camping World.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but not required.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Possible exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
