Job summary

Rural Eastern Oregon Medical Center in La Grande, OR seeks a Psychiatrist for a permanent, full-time role on a four 10-hour day schedule. Relocation assistance is provided. You will contribute to strengthening behavioral health and primary care services within a Level IV Trauma Center environment.

The position offers a competitive compensation package of $350K–$385K+ per year, plus incentives and comprehensive benefits. Epic EMR proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• MD (Medical Degree) from an accredited school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress for efficacy and safety.
• Partner with Primary Care and Behavioral Health specialists for a whole-patient approach.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team and contribute to protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate charting.
