Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatrist for a rural Eastern Oregon hospital located in La Grande. This permanent, full-time position offers four 10-hour days, day shift, with relocation assistance and a clinically autonomous role within a supportive team.

You will evaluate and treat patients, oversee pharmacologic plans, collaborate across primary care and behavioral health, and contribute to trauma-center and community health initiatives. Epic EMR experience is required.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Psychiatry.
• Strong skills and a commitment to high-quality care in a community-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress for safety and efficacy.
• Partner with Primary Care and Behavioral Health to provide a whole-patient approach.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions (depression, anxiety, PTSD, SUD).
• Serve as SME for the behavioral health team and contribute to clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate charting.
• Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center for acute stabilization.
• Engage in community initiatives to reduce stigma and improve access to care.
